Its been, what, five years since he was replaced by The Radio Factor on this station? It was one of the worst trade-offs that I could have imagined, so I fled to Rush on that OTHER NETWORK. But even compared to Rush, I'd prefer Glenn...well, recorded-Glenn, because his live show would eliminate A&G and frankly, Glenn's not THAT good. Basically, bring Glenn back, keep A&G and I'll buy the advertised products.

Glenn Beck was the original reason I started listening to KNEW 5 years ago. His old timeslot(s) have not been the same since. It would be awesome to bring him back. He has now skyrockted in popularity and it would only be a boon to the station...

You absolutely should, as long as you keep A&G. The only reason I don't change stations to listen to Beck, or stream him live, is because A&G are so good, so locally relevant, and so reasonable.
If you have the chance to bring back Beck, particularly if it involves the savage dismembering (or at least the cessation of broadcasting) of Rob Black or whatever his name is, You would be doing your listeners, and the world at large, a great favor.

Yes please add him as he is the best I have been a member of the Glenn Beck insider for more than 5 years. He is the best out there save the A and G show that I listen to every day.
If you could add him at the 12n hour it would be the best thing you have ever done since you signed Armstrong and Getty. I have told everyone I know about the A and G show and I would do the some for Glenn.

I'd listen to Beck. I used to listen to him at 10 after A&G, but have not been impressed with any 10 o'clock programming since! I'm sorry to say I now switch to 810 after A&G are done. Give me a reason to stay!

Yes, I really miss Jeff Katz too! Next to Savage, Jeff Katz and Dennis Miller were my all time favorites so far who have appeared on KNEW. I followed Jeff Katz via podcast from WBT, but unfortunitly he was dropped there too :( Both Jeff KAtz and Dennis Miller are very quick minded and extremly logical people, which is probably why I enjoyed their programs. And Savage is in a leage of his own, truely a great gift to conservative thought... Glenn Beck was not too bad eithier when KNEW had him on years ago. I would not mind him back on, but don't replace Rob Black. Rob is a real asset as well....

Used to be an all 560 listener, now only there for Rush. KTRB is a gold mine of good stuff, Beck, Doyle, Laura(record on XM receiver for night listening) etc.

If you don't put Glenn on real time at 6am, will listen to him on my XM, not a big A&G fan. Do like Schnitt.

Tough decisions for you folks. Go back to when Kasem was on 910 when it was KEWB in the 60's.

Actually I remember as a young lad in the 60's that KNEW was kind of a talk show station that was located in the Jack London Square area of Oakland. Then I believe it turned into a country music channel. I think I remember retired personality Jim Eason was one host before switching to KGO, then later to KSFO. I could be wrong, it was so long ago.....

I listen to your station via the streaming archive. Most likely Beck won't allow you to archive his show without paying him more. So I don't care. According to Savage, Beck just steals his material anyway so I will stick with Savage.

I do not DISLIKE Rob Black. My impression of the show is that it is geared towards people who are questioning their stock portfolio/financial planning. That is my least favorite KNEW show on the weekdays.

Yes Please! I've missed Glenn's show soooo much. Either bring him back, or bring Dennis Miller back. I listened to both every day. Rob Black is boring, and once you've listened to his show for a week, you've pretty much heard it all. Both Glenn and Dennis brought variety to their shows...not just politics, but life. I miss that and have been desperately wanting it back. I've been driving while listening to my ipod since Rob Black came to 910. I used to listen to your station every day instead.

When i first heard Glenn Beck on the radio about two months ago the first thing that came to my mind was why isn't this on 910 knew. I mean you already have Savage its only right to have Beck as well. I don't like Beck on 860 because every other minute it goes to a 10 minute commercial and the frequency doesn't give a strong signal to my radio. If you guys can get Beck on with less commercials i say do it. But what are you going to do with Armstrong and Getty those guys are great as well.

My husband and I are BIG Glenn Beck fans. I hated to think he'd be off the radio as i only listened to 860 to hear him inspite off all those god awful goverment commercial . I was heart sick to think he will be off radio . I think it would be a wonderful additon to have Beck on 910 KNEW
I like Dr. Michael Savage too,i personally think the reason Dr Savage doesn't like Beck is because great minds think alike. And when I hear Dr. Savage making comments that Beck is robbing is thunder it sounds to me that there is some resentment on Dr. Savages part. That can easily be take for some kind of jealousey it doesn't suit Dr. Savage well . I also like Handle on the law on Saturaday I liked him in the afternoon.

This is absolutely the case! I detest that show. Rob Black is probably the worst radio personality I have ever heard. It drove me to Rush. I can't even stand the promos for that show. And I detest that Schnitt show. He's vulgar. He drove me to the Lawyer on the other station. Why can't you have a non-political show that's entertaining? It could be about anything (except money) Cooking, car repairs, home improvement, in depth celebritiy interviews, a game show. Politics gets old after awhile...

Given that KTRB is ending their newstalk format and Glenn's show will no longer be on, I would definitely listed to him on KNEW if you bring his show there. Glenn has become even more popular since getting a TV show on FOX and it can only help your ratings if you had his show.

Yes, I would like you to bring Glenn Beck to KNEW. Just don't put him on between 9am and 12 noon or you will be wasting him. I think you know why. You should put him on live from 6am to 9am.

My favorite host on your station is Roger Hedgecock. I think that if he were on during the day, he would be second in the national ratings to Rush. (He used to be the favorite fill-in host for Rush.) I would like to hear him during the day because I hardly ever get to listen to him at night. If you moved Roger to the noon to 3pm slot and got rid of the Schmit guy, I would be very happy.

A resounding YES!!!! I was so disappointed when he was taken off a few years ago...... He has a big following and now is competing with A&G in the mornings on 860. I subscribe to Beck's podcast, so I can listen to both A&G and Glenn, my two very favorite shows!!!!!!

Depending on the time slot, I would welcome an opportunity to listen to Glenn Beck on KNEW. I can catch his show in two of my cars, which have XM Satellite radio and would welcome being able to listen at home or in my third car which does not have an XM receiver.

I'd stay away from the 9-noon time slot where Rush dominates.

I really like Glenn Beck and would probably listen if you had him on. However, all of these talk-shows on your station and other talk radio stations regurgitate the SAME topics (some more entertaining than others) but at the end it's all the SAME stuff. I love talk radio, but I had a nice break from all the political stuff when there was Dr. Laura to listen to. Your competing radio station moved her from mid-day to 8 or 9 pm! So any given day, I hear the SAME topics talked about by different radio personalities. Dr. Laura was a guilty pleasure that in these hard times, people would want to escape to. I can catch or record Glenn's or Sean Hannity's show on TV! I would prefer to have something I can't get anywhere else or at a better time! Keep Savage & A&G!

With 860 going all sports, not only is Beck available for the Bay Area again, but Neil Boortz as well. I had never heard of Boortz, but warmed up to him pretty quickly. His laid back style and irreverent sense of humor won me over quickly.

Why not Beck after A & G to replace that arrogant schmuck Rob Black, then Boortz from noon until Savage? I'm sure your listeners will warm up to Boortz as I did, and he's a natural fit for your audience.

I actually began listening mid day to KNEW because of Glenn several years ago. I have been very disappointed with everyone since. Mr. Independent would get out about 5 syllables out and had to pull over before I fell asleep at the wheel, man those were tough days as someone who tries to be a loyal listener. Hey I wonder if Pelosi would mind if we piped that audio into those cells God knows I would crack in no time. No Spin was a huge disappointment taking on Savage.
Kid with a dream was stimulating but Sal, Sal was the death of him. I couldn’t pay attention to the radio for that involuntary throat clearing thing you get as you hear someone else talk with phlegm filling their vocal cords talking or laughing. Schnit I don’t know, jury is out since I am so frustrated with all the lame guys from before. Savage was the one who kept me tuning in on the drive home.
I am so glad to have the opportunity to express this to you I have wanted to since Beck was taken out of your line up, it probably had something to do with his group doing the TV show. Anyway I would love to have him back and hope that will be the decision.

Glenn Beck should have never been taken off 901 KNEW in the first place. The guy is great. I used to listen to him daily when he was on in the mornings on 910KNEW and watch his show and listen to it on XM all the time when he is on FNC. I'm not a huge fan of the evening line up and as much as I enjoy Lars Larson, you guys have his show on much too late for me to listen to but would listen to KNEW more frequently in the evening with Glenn Beck on and Lars earlier. Could even do without the Savage instant replays.

I currently listen to him on line as that is the only way I can hear him.

Armstrong and Getty are great, and MIchael Savage is the best. Throw Glenn in between and that would be perfect!

Wouldn't mind Glenn Beck. Don't like the new Rob Black show-boring!! Don't do anything to A&G - they are fantastic!! Loved Jerry Doyle - should never have gotten rid of him. Schnitt isn't too bad. Wouldn't mind pushing Savage back to 4 so you can have two 3-hour shows back to back.

Absolutely, I was listening to him every morning opposite Armstrong and Getty (my favorite before Glenn Beck) on 810 San Jose, which has currently turned to sports radio (now deleted from my favorites). The best and strongest independent voice out there. You guys have the best lineup in the Bay Area, the only thing you're missing is Glenn Beck! (It might even be enough to keep me from switching over to listen to Rush.)

Will he be " LIVE " or tape delay ? If it's tape then put him on at Ten P M, then you would have the best Ten to Midnight show in the Bay Area otherwise listeners to other shows will probably not change.

Absolutely! I started listening here on the internet (from Spokane, WA - actually Post Falls, ID) because of Savage. Then, in the morning I used to listen to O'rielly and then Dennis Miller, both of which I liked. Once you cancelled Miller I started looking around and found WROW, News talk 590 in Albany, NY - after being totally loyal to KNEW for a long time. Soon, I kept WROW on long enough (just because I forgot to change for Todd) to catch Glenn Beck from 12 to 3. But then they changed that slot to Dave Ramsey, who is a correct but completely boring broken record after about 10 minutes. So then I found Glenn at KTAR 92.3 FM in Phoenix so now I listen to miller from 9 to 12 on WROW, Beck on KTAR until 3 and then Savage on KNEW. I started this whole internet radio thing with KNEW because I wanted to hear Savage and could not get decent AM in my office. I like KNEW and hearing the local stuff from the bay area, but the new guy at 10 AM is of no interest to me. I do like Todd Scnitt, but Dennis and Glenn are more my speed (although Obama Man Can is one of the funniest things I have ever seen!!), so with lots of run on sentences - YES, YES - GLENN BECK!! Do you get the picture that I am a loyal listener of KNEW?

I championed Glenn Beck leaving the first time, and I enjoy him very much. The morning set up "Rock the Roost", the way it is now!! Armstrong & Getty are the "Bomb", and Rob Black is so instructional and relevant, we need his show with the way the economy is. I really like his show. And we all need Michael Savage, he's a necessary EVIL, and a great man, so if you can fir Glenn Beck in somewhere other than those three places, I'm all for it, but please don't take Rob or Michael away. I know Armstrong & Getty are safe!! Thanks for the opportunity to express my opinion...you have a great radio station.

I had you set as my primary radio station back in 2001 or 2002 and then at some point you changed the hours, then stopped playing the entire show. I haven't listened to you since. Conservative Talk Radio is in danger of having hosts plucked off local radio stations due to the Durban "diversity of communication ownership" FCC rule changes. Therefore, people will need to turn to the internet to hear their shows from radio stations that can afford to keep them. Glenn is an excellent analytical commentator with millions of fans, and I would love to hear him on your station.

Hi, Yes, I would listen if Glenn Back returned to KNEW. He has an interesting and singular way of telling a story and getting his opinion out. I understand that Michael Savage is an enormous "draw" for your station; I've followed him since he started filling in on another station over 15 years ago and appreciate the fact that he's local (for San Francisco). My other preferences for KNEW are listening to Lars Larson (although I wish he were on earlier) and Roger Hedgecock, both reasonable and smart guys. Your trial run with Schnitt just does not work for me... Thanks for asking for listeners' opinions.

Yes!! We really, really would like you to bring back Glenn! The station that he was on in San Francisco is truly a crappy station. Bad signal, repeat commercials and lame shows. Maybe put him on in place of Michael Savage and put Savage on after Roger Hedgecock! YES!!!!!! you used to have him on from 9 - 12 and it was great but in the last few years I have had to go to 860 or 650 to listen to something esle your line up need something the black show is slow and boring and 650 has clark howard at the same time and offers a funner show to listen to. and the schnit show is just a rip off of glenn his intro music is almost the same.

the best line up you could have is
armstrong and getty 6- 10
niel bortz 10- 12
glenn beck 12 - 3
savage 3- 6
jerry dohle 6 - on

I drill water wells and listen to talk radio all day from 6 am- 6pm this line up would give you a large draw all day and keep the people listening longer and help your listening share and advertising sales

hope you guys do something the last few years have been hard to listen with lou dobbs, or bill o rielly blabbing on dennis miller was ok but not really good but anything !!!! i mean anything is better than ron black and schnit

Let's put it this way. I am 910 listener and generally enjoy the line up you have. But when I discovered that 860 am on the dial had Beck on in the mornings gues who I dumped? A&G. I love A&G but after getting Beck they became second choice. When Beck lands again guess where my dial will be? 910? I hope so. If not 910 it will be turned elsewhere. Be smart gang. DO IT. The Bay Area needs him. Plus you can link FOX TV and radio casts if you get crafty.

KNEW recently began polling listeners in regards to bringing Glenn Beck to Talk 910. My first reaction is, hell yes, I don't know why you let him get away in the first place. When he switched to the ill-fated network that surrounded him with infomercials, I stuck with Armstrong and Getty because their regional take on the days issues and politics have become an important part of my day. While Glenn is witty and informative in a similar fashion at times his long winded emotional stories can be overwhelming at six o'clock in the morning. I've recently wondered if the string of people walking in front of commuter trains were listeners of his. I think his style and content is better suited for the after ten a.m. slot

In a word: Absolutely. When Beck was taken out of the Bay Area airwaves a few years ago I was very disappointed, and his predecessors in the time slot did not make the grade in my opinion. Get him back..we'll be very happy listeners.

YES! You need to strengthen your weakening line-up. Financial show in a.m. (Rob Black) is growing on me, but Snitz is terrible. Glenn Beck is second only to Savage for my taste. Glenn Beck is now on locally opposite A & G time slot; tough choice, as A & G are great, also. So, replace Snitz with Beck, and you would have me back for 13 hours per day.

I have listened to knew for some time, and I would have to say I listened to Glenn Beck more than any of the other mid day shows you have had. I listen to A&G about 3 or 4 times a week for 2 or 3 hours and Michael Savage in the afternoon usually for 3 hours 4 or 5 days a week.
I almost never listen in the 10 am until 3pm slots. I don't really like Bill O'reilly's show, although I did enjo Jeff Katz's show. Anyway thats my 2 cents worth.

Yep, yep, YEP. Do it. He's why I started listening to your station. Then I got HOOKED on A&G. I listen to all four hours every day then . . . switch to evil KGO. Used to listen to O'Reilly, but Glenn is far better. Currently I don't have any reason to tune back in after 10am, so I don't.

Glen Beck is as entertaining as a prostate exam. He seriously discredits the (I hate to use the term because it is so vague) "conservative movement" because he is so ill informed and emotion driven. The only person worse than him is Hannity. Beck is a drama queen (does he ever stop fidgeting and squirming on his FOX show?!) and his smirk reminds me of a creepy neighbor I had as a kid.

More importantly his ideology, which I agree with for the most part is devoid of any intellectual basis, which I think (not that my opinion matters since KNEW is going to put Beck on the air) is the most important foundation for conservative pundits to stay relevant and successfully repel liberal arguments. Rush and Dr. Savage are both good examples of conservative intellectuals, granted that they use humor and raw emotion as well, but at least they have a reasoning behind their arguments that make you think about their comments, even if you disagree. Beck has no such grounding to his political views, I would argue him akin to the Chris Matthews or Rachel Maddow of the right: full of polemic without any substance or actual cogent thought. Like Hannity, with Beck, all one needs to do to enjoy his show is turn off your brain.

KNEW: Since you are going to put Beck on your station I beg one thing of you: Please replace A&G and/or Savage with Beck, preferably both, so that I have less of a reason to shift the dial to 910 anymore. Come on KNEW...Schnitt? That money guy no one listens to? Getting rid of Dennis Miller? I think you've been making serious mistakes in your decisions on what shows to run. I liked 910 KNEW a ton when Savage switched over and you branded yourself as an independent conservative station. That was a breath of fresh air from the morning show with the crypt keeper and melanie morgan over on 560 and some of their other dull programming. Now I see you falling into the same hole (aside from A&G who are fantastic and Dr. Savage who is just the most entertaining and thought provoking radio personality in my memory).

Adding Beck will do nothing good for KNEW, except maybe garner ratings from his fans. But I guess your station cares more about the bottom line than intelligent political discourse and the success of conservatism.

We really need you here in the San Francisco Bay Area. It would be great if you could get the 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. slot on AM 910 KNEW, replacing a couple of well intentioned but very limited local guys struggling with a call in talk show. If KNEW doesn't work, you might consider KSFO, our other major AM talk radio station. There, the 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. slot now is taken Tuesday through Friday by a very good local talk radio host, Lee Rodgers, but he seems to be phasing into retirement. That show is followed from 9 a.m. to noon by Rush, and wherever you go here, you obviously aren't going to want to compete with him. Would love to see your show replace Dr. Laura's in the late afternoon, early evenins on KSFO. Best wishes and please come back here very soon.

NO NO NO. When Glenn Beck was dropped, you gained a listener.

I used to like Beck, but gradually he became too emotional and over the top with his sarcasm, and smacks of Limbaugh to me -- I appreciate the stories/topics he covers, but his style over time got in the way of the substance of the topics at hand. I think this shift happened when he got his TV show.

My opinion is that his style would turn newer listeners would be turned off too quickly, as he takes some getting used to. However, I understand why so many people like listening to the guy.

Guys like A&G, for example, have a great balance of humor and handle it well, and when they are serious and matter-of-fact on issues/topics they are even-keeled which adds to their credibility.

I appreciate having a local guy, Rob Black in that spot, discussing practical topics. In this current economic storm, consumer advocate guys like Clark Howard would draw a VARIETY of listeners, not just conservatives, by delivering information applicable to the individual. You already have a great line up already with Hedgecock, Larson, A&G, and Savage that discuss larger national issues. (ROGER IS GREAT recent addition - he should be a KNEW Keeper!!)

My suggestion to consider for a time slot in your schedule, even just to test it out on the weekends, is consumer advocate Tom Martino "The Referralist" http://www.referrallist.com/aboutus.php I had heard him on the radio when I was traveling through Colorado, when he was known as "The Troubleshooter" and it was informative, practical, and entertaining. I know a lot of people also appreciate and have been helped by listening to Dave Ramsey, although he's not necessarily my favorite.

Perhaps there are some other regional hosts who cover state & local issues -- as it's been said (and it's TRUE) -- all politics are local.

Unfortunately, most people only pay attention to important issues when their wallets are directly impacted, and when that happens they tune out all the noise so they can listen to "news they can use" as the saying goes.

That being said, I think people across the political spectrum would agree that many are seeking out advice and help when it comes to their own personal economy -- because the government sure isn't doing a good job with OUR economy!

If you do decide to bring Beck back, try putting him in Roger's slot and bump Roger into an even better time slot during the day. That I could handle. But please, reconsider Beck coming back to KNEW. Otherwise this listener will change her dial to KSTE Sacremento.

You had Glenn Beck on something like 2003-2005 in the noon until 3pm leed into Dr. Savage and he was way better than who replaced him. Then you got those "script readers" O'rielly and that milk toast CNN guy. Those two script readers were only fair and I am glad they are gone. So, leave Armstrong & Getty 6-10, Rob Black at least one hour 10-11, Schnitt is both new and different (his humour is growning both for me and my associates) so keep him as the lead into Dr. Savage. That means only one or two hours for Glenn Beck, say 11am-1pm; but if you have to take a minimum 3 hour feed then do not take him at all. Beck was good five years ago but maybe not good enough to bump out too much of the current line up of entertainment and news reportage.

I miss Glenn. Until 860 went all sports, I'd switch freely between A&G and him. A&G was a good depression reliever when Glenn got me down, so you'll need to keep A&G.

Also, I miss Laura Ingram. I catch her on the web sometimes, but I liked listening to her on my commute home. Consider fitting her into your schedule too. (Why is anyone listening to 560?????)

Yes. I'm not a fan of Rob Black's show, so I would be very pleased if you were to replace Rob with Glenn Beck. I find myself changing stations when Rob comes on and I'd venture to guess you are seeing lots of other people doing the same. He just doesn't give off the energy that keeps me interested in what he's saying, so I get bored and tune him out. Glenn fits better with your line-up because he does have a lot of energy and the ability to entertain me as I learn about current issues, as does all the surrounding shows. Please bring him back! I wake up to Armstrong and Getty every morning. I look forward to it. But, I get a feeling of dread as the clock approaches 10:00.

(I also enjoy the Jerry Doyle show, but they only air 1 hour of it on another bay area station, at 3 during Savage's slot, and even that that's when they aren't airing an Oakland A's Game.)

Switching to Rush and Hannity is my last resort, but frankly, they both bore the piss outta me.

Glenn would do great in the 9 am to 12n timeslot. Please keep Schnitt... Schnitt may be a little too opinionated for some, but his mind is in the right place! No one fights the Global Warming scam like Schnitt does. A&G should not mind giving up their last hour for Glenn, it's their weakest one. And Dr. Savage should stop attacking other hosts, it makes him look petty. Roger is great. Rusty has his moments. And please, please, Stop with the commercials that begin with a "ringing phone"!!! I change stations everytime.

I agree with most of Aaron's comments, though I would have to say that I think that Glenn is very good and head and shoulders above much of your competitor station's line-up with the exception of Rush and a very few others. Keep A&G and put Glenn on after them. Keep Schnitt, Savage, Hedgecock. A terrific line up that would keep me listening and buying your advertised products.

Glenn is entertaining, and it is easy to listen to his show. I like Rob's show, but it is really meant for a two day a week, weekend slot. Financial advice 2 hours a day, every day is just too much, and Rob's show is too slow and toned down after an upbeat A&G. The other option for Rob to be to fill in for some of the Savage time as Michael doesn't do a full 3 hours a day anymore and the "encore" performances have used up my patience and I'm now flipping to 560 or sports talk. Getting a good fill in at the drop of a hat would really improve your station. Schnitt seems like a bit of an idiot, but at least he is able to keep my interest. I liked Jerry Doyle too, but I don't know where he would fit in a time slot.

At least I could come back to listen to Glenn Beck. How about bringing back Lou Dobbs, Laura Ingraham or many of the others you let go. And what is the deal with Rob Black. Money after A&G? Uh, no. Not happy. Beck would be an unwelcome addition. Beck & Savage would put me over the edge and bye-bye 910. One the other hand, I would continue as a listener (new since your recent addition of Rob Black). I think people need the kind of advice/dicussion he provides, now more than ever. I've turned many of my friends on to his show and they agree it's a positive spin on money talk. I sure hope that Beck would not be at the expense of Black. If that's the case, adios 910 (and that will be passed along to all my friends, too).
